Kona Coffee Cultural Festival

The oldest food festival in Hawai'i brings together a variety of events over a ten-day period, but our favorite is the coffee recipe cooking contest. Coffee chili is one of the best things you've never tasted. Early November. www.konacoffeefest.com.

    Big Island. This low-key farmers' market is filled with produce, coffee, and macadamia nuts from around the region. It's held in the parking lot of the Kona Inn Shopping Village on Wednesday and Saturday from 7 AM until 3 PM. more ›

    Big Island. The new kid on the block, housed in an open-air facility, has attracted vendors away from a lot of other island markets to sell flowers, local produce, Hawaiian crafts, clothes, and random collectibles. more ›
