The Lahaina Mai Tai Lounge
Take a break from shopping and sightseeing at the Lahaina Mai Tai Lounge, one of the latest additions to the Lahaina nightlife scene. You’ll find some of the best tropical drinks on Maui in this swinging and groovy new lounge and restaurant (trust us on this!).
This hip and happening place is the ideal spot to unwind, sip a Blue Hawaiian or one of the best Mai Tai’s on the island while you watch the sun set. The entrance is tucked behind one of those jewelry store counters you find about every 15 feet on Lahaina’s Front street – but once inside, you’ll immediately leave shopping mode as the atmosphere transforms into a warm, modern collection of swirling Hawaiian patterns, wooden tiki carvings, plasma TV screens, lounge-worthy lighting and chill beats.
You can choose from the (slightly) more upscale main floor or head upstairs to the open and loungey deck area; complete with cushy wicker seating. Both areas offer an awesome view of the ocean. Food choices are fairly standard Hawaiian fare of pupus, sushi and seafood, but uniquely-presented and well-beyond tasty. Portions are extremely generous and the service is quick and welcoming. Entrée prices run from $12-25 and there are many great values on the menu.
The Lahaina Mai Tai Lounge is a fabulous addition to the Maui scene and is worthy of its great seaside location – a great place to chill out at the end of your Maui day.
