A restored plantation cottage set back off the highway and
surrounded by tropical foliage is the setting for this island café. You'll know
it by its bright lime-green storefront. An attached black-light art gallery and
a vintage apparel shop called Bambulei make this a fun stop for any meal.
Outdoor seating in the vine-covered garden is pleasant during nice weather,
although on calm nights, it can get buggy. Acoustic music is offered regularly,
attracting a laid-back local crowd. Pot stickers filled with tofu and chutney,
'ahi wraps, Greek and organic salads, fresh fish and soups, and a daily list of
specials are complemented by a full espresso bar and wonderful desserts. Allow
plenty of time, because the tiny kitchen can't turn out meals quickly. Closed Mon.
